The Villager Facts and Figures
Who are we?
The Villager is situated on Sea Lane in Ingoldmells, opposite the hugely successful
Fantasy Island Theme Park and Eastgate, Europe's largest market. This coastal strip has
the largest concentration of caravans and camping facilities in Europe.
The Villager is approximately 1 mile from Butlins Funcost World, their recently refurbished flagship,
and minutes away from Skegness, Chapel St Leonards and Mablethorpe. We are open 7 days
a week,
everyday apart from Christmas day, from 11am to midnight during the winter
months and closing
at 2am during the summer.
The Villager is a freehouse and consists of the following areas;
* The Villager Bar * Family Showbar * The Forecourt * The Villager Hotel
The 4 areas have a capacity in excess of 1'500 people during the main season although we do
not know the actual daily footfall. We cater across the board being a young persons & family
venue & continually strive to offer our clientele the best range and quality of drink & food products.
In recent years we developed an extensive area outside the front of The Villager to accommodate heated outdoor seating where customers may also smoke if they wish to.
This outside area is built
in glass & English Oak with state of the art infra red heating & old
fashioned cast iron lanterns
providing lighting to compliment the outside sound system and
frequent live entertainment.
We
have also recently completed extensive alterations to the main bar, opened new
toilets,
built a new cellar & refurbished the kitchen.
Due to open in June 2011 The Villager Hotel will offer premium style, first class,
all year round accommodation. The Villager Hotel is situated in a prime holiday location on
Sea Lane in
Ingoldmells above
The Villager Pub.
